private lessons
Ski, Nordic ski, snowboard, telemark, freestyle…
For a customer designed service to suit individual requirements, we offer private lessons or you may hire an instructor !
For as long as you wish a skilled ski instructor is at your service.
A private lesson will enable you :
- to assess yourself (in order to join a group lesson, to know your level…)
- to get your errors corrected
- to discover a new "snow" sport (telemark, snowboard…)
For information, the skis used for classic cross-country skiing are long and narrow: they do not have metal edges, and the central part is waxed for restraint or, failing that, fitted with scales as part of a touring practice. leisure. This traditional technique, called classic, consists of advancing in 2 parallel tracks. It is also called the alternate step technique, because the glide is performed from one foot to the other. The skating step, also called by its English name "skating", is practiced with smooth skis, without retaining wax, to slide as well as possible over the entire length. This style, which is similar to skating, more demanding than the classic, requires a certain physical condition.
A private lesson is provided for 1,2,3 or 4 people of the same level and in the same sport.
From 3 people, we advise you to take 2 consecutive hours.
Please note : The followings rates do not include insurance nor equipment rental.
All participants in the course must have similar technique level and age !
A pass for access to the cross-country trails is compulsory.
It is on sale at the ski lift ticket offices (www.pralognan.com).
